The 11th Iranian International Medical Physics Conference began on Thursday at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Hospital, in the presence of domestic and foreign academics, researchers and other distinguished participants. “The main objective of the conference is to gather experts in the field for scientific interaction and exchange of knowledge and thus expanded services,” IRNA quoted conference secretary Dr. Saeid Sarkar as saying. He said this year the conference theme was “elaborating the status of medical physics and its role in upgrading public health in Iran.”
