Amirkabir University of Technology has been assigned by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology to work as a liaison office to facilitate scientific cooperation between Iranian and French centers of higher education.
“All scientific cooperation between Iran and France will be handled by this university,” said Amir Golrou, international cooperation director of AUT. The current student exchange program has a two-year ‘Home Country Physical Presence’ requirement, meaning that students study for two years in Iran and two in France, IRNA reported.
A three-year agreement on holding higher education joint courses with the French is on the university’s agenda.
