Korean Cuisine for Iranians

The South Korean Embassy in Tehran hosted tens of Iranians to give them a chance to savor the East Asian country’s foods on May 1.  Hosted by the state-run Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation on Sunday, the “K-Food Cooking Class” was attended by 100 Iranians. The participants were selected from more than 350 applicants, organizers said, Yonhap news agency reported on Monday. According to the report, Iranians learned how to make ‘kimchi’, a spicy, fermented cabbage dish, and ‘kimbap’, a seaweed-wrapped rice roll filled with a variety of ingredients.
