It is now possible to drive in South Korea with an Iranian driving license and vice versa, according to a new MoU signed between the two countries, said Traffic Police Chief Taqi Mehri, on the sidelines of the signing ceremony on Wednesday at the NAJA (Iran Police) headquarters in Tehran. South Korean Ambassador to Tehran Kim Sung Ho attended the ceremony, ISNA reported. Taqi Mehri pointed to the significant decrease in the number of annual fatalities in road traffic accidents in the country, and said “During the last decade the figure has declined, from 28,000 in 2005 to 16,500 in 2015.”
