Iran will host the 7th Asia Pacific Otology Neurotology (APON) meeting next month. The 1st Congress of PONS (Persian Otology Neurotology Skull Base Surgery) group is also scheduled to be held at the same time. The event from May 11-13 will be held at Tehran’s Milad Tower. Previous rounds of the meeting were held in Bangkok, Singapore, Dubai and Penang. Keynote speakers from the US, Canada, Italy, the UK, Malaysia, Turkey and India will address the meeting while guests will include specialists from more than 10 countries, ISNA reported. The meeting will focus on tumors and infections affecting the ear and skull, and new treatment methods.
