Promoting Healthy Breakfast

To educate students about the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) organized an event in Tehran’s District 10 on Thursday, the third in the past two years, attended by 500 school kids and parents, as part of the National Health Week (April 20-26) programs, said Mohammad Hashemi, general director of FDA’s public relations office. “Students and parents were served healthy breakfast options including cheese, bread, walnut, date and milk,” IANA quoted him as saying. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day which provides students with the energy and nutrients they need, he added.
