Some Nurses Prefer Migration

During the first month of the current year (started March 20), 30 nurses had applied for  jobs abroad and most of them have shown a preference for Canada to other countries, said Ibrahim Mohammadi, head of the international affairs office at the Nursing Organization. During the same period last year, only 7 nurses applied to work abroad. “Discrimination in wages for nursing staff in the health system should be blamed as the main reason for the increase in the number of nurses wanting to migrate,” Mehr News Agency quoted him as saying.
