In a meeting between head of Tehran Regional Office of the International Committee of Red Cross, Olivier Martin, and IRCS Deputy Managing Director Reza Rais Karami on Monday, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to develop programs and improve rehabilitation services.
Setting up joint rehabilitation centers in other countries, consultative and technical collaboration, and holding educational and training courses were among the provisions of the agreement, said Peyman Daneshgahi, director general of IRCS Rehabilitation Division, ILNA reported. As per the MoU, the ICRC will also provide the Iranian Red Crescent Society personnel with education assistance in new technologies, including technical orthopedics.
