During a visit to the University of Tehran on Saturday, a high-ranking Italian academic delegation held talks with the chancellor and instructors of Iran’s top academic center. Both sides called for sharing experience, online education, offering courses in international languages, as well as exchange programs among students and instructors, IRNA reported. Director of the Office for Promotion, Planning and Coordination of International Research at the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, Federico Cinquepalmi, also suggested holding programs for young researchers. Referring to the status of the university in scientific and cultural areas, Chancellor of Tehran University Mahmoud Nili-Ahmadabadi, called for closer academic and scientific cooperation with Italy.
