Tehran and Moscow are developing mutual cooperation, particularly in the field of science, said Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei Thursday. “The ideal level of Iran-Russia cooperation in science and technology should be stronger than it currently is, but relations are progressing well,” he said addressing a conference at the University of St. Petersburg titled ‘Russia and Iran: Dialogue of Cultures’, Khabaronline reported. He referred to the establishment of the High Committee for Iran-Russia Scientific and Technologic Cooperation as well as the Iran-Russia Joint Union of Higher Education Centers as some of the important achievements by the two sides in the past year.
