The First National Festival and International Congress on Stem Cell Sciences and Technologies and Regenerative Medicine will be held May 19-21 at Tehran’s Rayzan International Conference Center. It is cosponsored by the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and the Chronic Disease Research Center (affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences) and will provide an opportunity for Iranian and foreign experts to exchange views and experiences, IRNA reported. Latest scientific achievements will also be presented and discussed through keynote speeches and paper presentations and workshops. The congress will focus on several main subjects: clinical, basic sciences, ethical issues, studies in the manufacturing sector and industrial production of immune cells.
