A book on “Blood Care and Treatment Systems” was unveiled in the presence of Vice President for Science and Technology Sourena Sattari at the Iran Blood Transfusion Organization on Monday. The book includes reports on the activities of IBTO in the outgoing Iranian year (ends March 19), as well as the blood transfusion complications experienced in hospitals and medical centers. The book will be used as an educational resource in training field specialists, IRNA reports. Iran is recognized as a top contributor in transfusion medicine by the International Blood Transfusion Society (IBTS) based on its services and scientific achievements.
