Knee joint replacement surgeries have an 80% success rate in the country, said Dr. Soheil Mehdipour, secretary of the Iranian Society of Knee Surgery Arthroscopy and Sports Traumatology. “Both partial and complete knee joint replacement surgeries are done in Iran with a success rate of 80%,” he said on the eve of the society’s 4th Biennial International Congress, Mehr News Agency reported. ISKAST 2016 will be held May 17-20 at Tehran’s Milad Tower Conference Center. It will include keynote lectures, scientific paper presentations, debates, seminars, surgical demonstrations, instructional courses and technical exhibits.
