The multi-purpose guesthouse of Shahid Rajaie Cardiac Hospital was inaugurated in Tehran on Thursday. The five-storey residential building, comprising 70 rooms and a conference hall, was officially opened in the presence of Health Minister Seyed Hassan Hashemi, Mehr News Agency reported. Philanthropist Hassan Ahmadini has largely contributed to the construction of the four-star guesthouse, which is also supported by specialist doctors and board of directors of the hospital and the Iranian Heart Charity Organization. The guesthouse will accommodate the families, relatives or those accompanying the hospitalized patients. Fereidoun Nouhi, head of the hospital, said that the room tariff is calculated based on the financial ability of the patients. “If they cannot afford it, they will not be charged.”
