$189m Proposed for IRCS

Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Seyed Amir-Mohsen Ziaei announced that $189 million has been proposed for the IRCS budget in the next fiscal year (starts March 20). The amount was approved by the government on Monday, pending approval by lawmakers, ISNA quoted him as saying. “For the next year, we have planned to add nine more aerial ambulances to our emergency services across the country. At present, we have 18 medical helicopters.”
