For the first time, two mangers from Iran’s Social Security Organization (SSO) have been selected as vice-chairmen of the technical commissions of the International Social Security Association (ISSA). The SSO is a member of the ISSA. In a letter to the director of SSO’s international affairs department, Reza Kashef, ISSA Secretary-General Hans-Horst Konkolewsky congratulated Kashef and Hossein Moshiri, on their appointments as vice-chairmen of the Technical Commission on Investment of Social Security Funds and Technical Commission on Statistical, Actuarial and Financial Studies, respectively. The two were also officially invited to take part in the upcoming assemblies of the technical commissions, Borna News Agency reported. Founded in 1927 and headquartered in Geneva, the ISSA has around 340 member organizations in 160 countries.
