The centers have so far been set up in 20 cities with a population of 50,000 and above and offer free counseling to people in social disorders and harm. In the first six months of the current Iranian year (ends March 19), more than 74,000 calls were made to the centers. The centers are accessible via the emergency hotline 123 round the clock.
