The second round of “Women’s Conference: Moderation and Development” was held Sunday at the Office of the Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs. Approaches and concepts that can help address women’s needs while empowering them to play a larger role in the cultural, political, economic and social fields were debated. Past experiences and policies implemented in areas concerning women’s issues were also discussed, IRNA reported. Vice President Shahindokht Molaverdi and Dr. Mohammad Amin Qanei Rad, head of the Iranian Sociological Association, attended the meeting.
