Improving Vocational Training

Deputy labor minister, Muhammad Amin Sazegarnejad met with Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Hiroyasu Kobayashi and discussed ways to broaden bilateral cooperation in areas of vocational training. “The Iranian Technical and Vocational Training Organization is exploring cooperation with foreign institutions to improve international collaboration, enhance vocational education, and improve the quality of training,” said Sazgarnejad, who is also the head of the organization, at the meeting on Wednesday, Mehr News Agency reported. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) could partner with Iranian training centers, he said. Organizing vocational courses and teaming up with the Japanese Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology, are on the agenda. Kobayashi said Japan is willing “to have all-out relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
