Javad Noori Nia, a communications professor at the University of Urmia has been ranked as a prominent world scientist.
The Iranian scientist has been placed among the Highly Cited Researchers 2015 in the Thomson Reuters Science Citation Index. The Chancellor of Urmiya University Rahim Hob Naqi told IRNA on Wednesday that Prof. Noori Nia has been selected for his scientific works.
The list represents some of world’s most influential scientific minds. About 3,000 researchers earned this distinction by writing the greatest number of reports officially, ranking among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication, earning them the mark of exceptional impact.
Noori Nia has presented and published 200 articles on various subjects, most importantly on electromagnetism and communications-electronics, in conferences as well as domestic and international scientific journals.
