Gynecology and Infertility Congress

Early diagnosis of womb (endometrial) cancer in women can help prevent removal of the uterus, said Dr. Farah Farzaneh, secretary of the ‘First International Congress on Debatable Topics on Obstetrics Gynecology and Infertility’. “Endometrial cancer just like cervical cancer, two of the most important cancers leading to infertility, can be completely cured if diagnosed in the very early stages,” she said, IRNA reported. Endometrial cancer can be diagnosed as well as treated in some early cases easily by visiting a gynecologist and taking basic tests. The congress will be held February 16-19 at the international conference hall of Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
