In the past two years, more than 50,000 students who had dropped out of primary school were identified and sent back to schools, said Muhammad Dimevar, deputy for primary education at the Education Ministry. In the current school year (ends June 20) nearly seven million students have been enrolled in primary schools across the country, Alef News Agency reported. Establishment of 140 new schools by the Barekat Foundation in the previous year helped us to extend education coverage. Barekat Foundation is dedicated to creating entrepreneurs, building schools and infrastructural facilities in remote and underdeveloped regions. It is affiliated to the Setad, a special office for executing the decrees of Imam Khomeini in helping the underprivileged.
