Overall, mortality rates in patients admitted to adult ICUs in Sweden is less than 10%, Dr. Fernando Suarez-Sipman, an intensive care specialist in Sweden said at the third International Conference on Intensive Care, held in Tehran’s Parsian Evin Hotel. He spoke on risk reduction strategies in ICUs including the correct use of ventilators. Thirteen prominent international professors attended the January 19-22 conference, reports IRNA.
