Route maps for Tehran’s Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) stops will soon be available in Braille across the capital, announced Peyman Sanandaji, managing director of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company. “The decision was made following our review of bus transport systems in European countries,” he said, ISNA reported. A map of routes and stops will be available in Braille for the visually-impaired passengers both inside buses and at bus stops. BRT stops will also be equipped with audio announcement systems to assist them to get off at their stops.
