Women Breadwinners The director of Women and Family Affairs at the ministry of industries and mining said “keeping records of women who are the sole breadwinners of their families is still underway.” Soheila Jelodarzadeh said the process has been completed in some provinces, ILNA reported. These women will be protected through several programs, including providing employment opportunities. She said 7,100 women have so far been identified under the plan, launched in collaboration with NGOs and charity groups.
