Two hospitals in two different regions of the country have complete preparedness in the event of nuclear accidents and radioactive emissions, said Amin Saberinia, head of Emergency Medical Service. “Although the chances of such incidents are very low in the country, the two hospitals in Bushehr and Isfahan provinces are ready and equipped to take immediate action,” he told ISNA. Preparedness for chemical disasters, nuclear incidents, and biological hazards are a part of crisis management and the Health Ministry has paid heed to these issues in any eventuality.
