Grade-appropriate concepts of hygiene are planned to be incorporated in the school curriculum at all levels, and the content for each grade will be appropriately developed, said Mehrzad Hamidi, deputy for physical education at the Education Ministry. “A full package of 12 educational booklets on hygiene concepts has been compiled and sent to the Organization for Educational Research and Planning, for accreditation,” he said, IRNA reported. The booklets will include information on personal hygiene, communicable diseases, environmental hygiene, and safety measures. Information, empowerment and promoting self-care are among the main areas of focus at the department.
