A new clinic was opened at Tehran’s Razi (Amin Abad) Medical Education Center, according to the public relations department of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences in Tehran. “Mental disorders are among the most common forms of disorders in every nation, and schizophrenics comprise 1% in every society,” said Dr. Hamidreza Khorram, university chancellor at the opening ceremony, IRNA reported. Bipolar and multiple personality disorders are the more common today, the physician said. Funded by a patron, the clinic will provide paraclinical services (such as pathology or radiology) to patients suffering from psychological disorders. The center is located in Rey district in downtown Tehran.
