There are between 11 million and 14 million suburban residents across the country, according to Seyyed Abolfazl Razavi, deputy vice-president for rural and deprived areas. “The government has plans for economic development of rural areas,” he pointed out, ISNA reported. “Residents of rural and deprived regions who initiate a cooperative and create jobs in their respective area will qualify for financial support in the form of loans,” he added. Razavi stressed that supporting employment and increasing income in rural regions is among the important policies of the government.
