In the wake of the heavy monsoon rains in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu that  caused massive flooding in the city of Chennai, Iran’s Red Crescent Society (IRCS) voiced readiness to contribute to the ongoing rescue and relief operations in the flood-stricken regions.
