The Civil Servants Pension Fund under the auspices of the Civil Servants Pension Organization will offer pensioners and their family members free assistance to fight Alzheimer’s, said Hamed Shams, the fund’s public relations manager. “As soon as a request is made, a volunteer will be introduced to the family to provide free educational assistance,” he said, IRNA reported. The project is in cooperation with the Iran Alzheimer’s Association, which is holding a two-day educational workshop on the ailment for pensioners and their families on December 4-5 in Tehran. Volunteers who take part in the workshops can later contribute as the association’s representatives to help more families.
