Iran is participating in the 50th Paris Food Exhibition (SIAL) 2014 that opened on October 19.
A total of 6,300 production companies from 85 countries are taking part. Fifteen Iranian food companies, which are among the country’s exemplary exporters of pistachios, almonds, dates, raisins, figs and saffron, are displaying their produce, IRNA reported.
The fair’s visitors are from various sectors of the food processing industry. Nearly 70% of the visitors seek new products and suppliers. The exhibition concludes on Thursday (Oct. 23).
