Nearly 300 specialized and sub-specialized polyclinics are currently under construction across Iran, said Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi. “Some will be ready to operate by the yearend (March 20, 2016) and some will be commissioned a year later,” he said, at the inauguration ceremony of a polyclinic in Shahrood, Semnan Province. Over the past year nearly 6,000 health specialists were sent to various regions including underprivileged areas. “The polyclinics will ensure easy and fast access to medical services for the people and increase the services of doctors in remote regions,” Hashemi said according to Borna News Agency.
