A one-day scientific seminar on colorectal cancer ‘From Scientific Evidence to Clinical Treatment’ will be held on November 26 at Homa Hotel in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi Province.
Colorectal cancer is the fourth common type of cancer in Iran after gastric cancer, bladder carcinoma, and prostate cancer. An estimated 3,800-4,000 new cases are registered annually in Iran, Borna News Agency reported.
It has no symptoms but can be detected by screening. For this reason, doctors recommend screenings for those at high risk or over the age of 50.
