The director for war veterans and martyred students at the science ministry says 67,000 war veterans are currently studying in the national universities. Rasoul Emadi told reporters in the southern city of Shiraz that one of the main policies of the ministry is to narrow the performance gap between war veteran and regular students, ISNA reported. He added that each semester, the GPA of the former are observed to see if they are making progress and if needed, extra-curricular classes are organized for them.
