The Health Ministry will support establishment of private universities that operate under the auspices of credible foreign academic centers, said Health Minister Hassan Hashemi. “One of the major issues Iran is grappling with is the flight of human capital in the quest for universities with specific standards,” he said, IRNA reported. “Therefore, my ministry will support establishment of varsities and educational centers by the private sector to operate under the patronage of foreign centers that have a global ranking of under 1,000,” he said.
