More than 120,000 students have been enrolled in special needs schools in the current academic year (started September 23), said Majid Ghadami, head of the Education Ministry’s Special Education Department. On the sidelines of an opening ceremony of a vocational school for special needs students in Torbat-e- Heydarieh, Khorasan Razavi Province, he said establishing training centers for exceptional students in all parts of the country is necessary to achieve justice in education, ISNA reported. At present there are 1550 training centers for the children across the country, he added.
