Iranian cave explorers recently discovered the country’s second deepest cave in the mountains of Kermanshah Province in western Iran. The Joujar Cave is the second-deepest at a depth of 568 meters after the Ghar Parau Cave, with a depth of 751 meters, IRNA reported. Ghar Parau is located in the Zagros Mountains, north of Kermanshah. This cave was registered as a natural monument by the Department of Environment.
