A total of $1.7 million (60 billion rials) was allocated to digitizing schools in North Khorasan Province over the past two years, said Ghanbar Ali Khosh Ayeneh, research and planning deputy at the provincial Education Department. “Currently, 35% of provincial schools are equipped with digital systems, including the sixth grade in primary schools,” he said, IRNA reported. North Khorasan Province has 160,000 students in more than 2,000 educational facilities.
