Book on Scientific Contributions

The Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IranDoc) has published a book which records over 28,000 scientific contributions by Iranians. Titled ‘Iranian Knowledge: Iranians’ Participation in Global Knowledge Production, 2013’, it is co-authored by Reihaneh Ensafi, Hossein Gharibi and Sirous Alidoousti in 360 pages, Mehr News Agency reported. The book in six chapters has used data from different sources including ISI indexes (Information Sciences Institute). The first book of its kind was released in 2002 by the same organization covering 968 of Iran’s scientific papers in 1999. Another edition followed comprising the 2000-2004 scientific works.
