The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs signed a memorandum of understanding with the Information Technology and Digital Media Development Center affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, to bolster mutual cooperation in youth and technology related areas.
“The MoU seeks to harness artistic and cultural capacities of the youth and to promote sectors relating to sports and culture, besides Iranian-Islamic lifestyle,” said Morteza Mousavian, head of the center, Borna News Agency reported.
Areas of cooperation include creating youth NGOs, holding provincial events and festivals in common areas, establishing 350 digital NGOs and a national cultural network under the auspices of the center.
Mohammadreza Rostami, deputy minister of sports and youth affairs, said the ministry has taken great strides in supporting the youth, by establishing the Young Social, Mothers’ Social, Entrepreneurship, Young Elites and Crowdsourcing networks.
