The Iranian Red Crescent Society will set up a hemodialysis center in Tajikistan in the next two months, said Amir Mohsen Ziaei, head of IRCS. “The center will have six dialysis beds and is an important step in providing medical assistance to the Tajik people,” he said in a meeting with Tajik Ambassador to Tehran Nematollah Imamzadeh on Tuesday, IRNA reported. “Our ties with Iran have always been strong, and the IRCS has been helpful in times of crisis not only in Tajikistan, but around the world,” Imamzadeh said. The two sides also plan to cooperate in providing medication to children suffering from cancer.
