In a meeting between Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi and his Afghan counterpart Abdul Razaq Vahidi, the two sides stressed the need to expand cooperation in the area of information technology (IT). The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ITU Telecom World 2015 in Budapest, Hungary, on October 12-15, IRNA reported. Vaezi said Iran is ready to share experiences in the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with the neighboring country. “The private sector can also help develop ICT in Afghanistan,” he noted. Vahidi called for enhancing Kabul-Tehran ties in the field of engineering and technical services.
