The First International Nanotechnology Olympiad has been planned for next year in Iran by the Nanotechnology Education Foundation which is active in teaching the science to university students. According to Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) negotiations have been carried out with a number of countries to participate in the event that will be held in Iran for the first time, Mehr News Agency reported. The foundation has also set up the largest nanotechnology educational resources in Iran on their website ‘Nanotechnology Education’ with more than 20,000 members. The resources include educational papers and online tests.Iran has made considerable progress in nanotechnology in recent years and produces a wide range of nano-materials annually.
