The Iran International Neuroscience Institute founded by Prof. Majid Samii, which is currently under construction, will be inaugurated on April 17, 2016. “We hope to officially open the research center that will be equipped with state of the art technologies, as planned,” said Samii, who is president of the International Neuroscience Institute, at a recent function in Hamedan Province, ISNA reported.
The center is the largest of its kind in Iran and will provide specialized and sub-specialized services and care in the fields of neurology. He said he is making efforts to introduce brain surgery techniques and knowhow in the country that reduce the risks to a minimum.
Samii is expected to head another International Neuroscience Institute in Beijing, China, which is also under construction and “will open after the Tehran center is inaugurated.”
