The second international conference of Safe School Leaders, October 4-5, is underway at Tehran’s Parsian Azadi Hotel.The meeting hosted by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) will be attended by representatives from 23 countries, said deputy minister of education Morteza Raeisi.The conference will discuss different subjects including school disaster management, risk reduction and resilience education, Mehr News Agency quoted him as saying. The recommendations at the meeting will be compiled as an international document, he said. The first meeting was convened by Turkey last year.
