Ohadi: 226 Deaths in Hajj Crush

At least 226 Iranian pilgrims lost their lives in Thursday’s deadly crush during the hajj rituals in Mina, near the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, said head of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Saeed Ohadi, on Monday.
He also said 248 Iranians are still missing, ISNA reported.
Search teams are trying to identify bodies of missing Iranian pilgrims at the Mecca morgue. Measures are underway to transfer bodies of all the deceased to Iran as soon as possible.
