Head of Tehran Education Department denied that tuition fee is charged from the mostly Afghan foreign students enrolled in schools and said “there are no plans to charge them.” Esfandiar Chaharband told ISNA that it was planned to set up a committee at the interior ministry to decide on the issue, but the committee has not been organized yet. Foreign students will enroll in schools, however, they are obliged to respect any decision made by the committee regarding tuition fee, he noted.
