The deputy for human resources of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces announced plans to launch mental health counseling centers for conscripts. Brigadier General Mousa Kamali told ISNA that the law to set up counseling centers has been pending since 2012 and now “we are drafting a set of rules to make counseling a regular part of the program for soldiers.” Kamali added that with the help of the centers, deployment of soldiers to suitable places can be designated.
