A tremblor of magnitude 2.4 Richter rattled Firuzkuh county in Tehran Province on Tuesday. The seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, said it occurred at 6:56 am local time, Alef News Agency reported. Firuzkuh, in northeast of Tehran, is located on an active fault that runs 70 km. Last month, a magnitude 4.6 Richter quake was recorded in the region.
